If there is no competition challenging their sevice, they provide the minimum they feel the custormer will purchase. It's not about what the customer wants, it's about profit. The fact they are challenging the "wants" of a community and pointing out that the community is wrong is insane. |

I don't like what SBC is doing (so spare me any flames, folks), but expecting a company to have all these other (altruistic) purposes besides making money is crazy.
If SBC can dupe your neighbors and politicians into passing laws that kill munis, I'd blame your neighbors and politicians before I'd blame SBC, regardless of how much I may dislike SBC. -- home |
