 docsis7 join:2001-12-01 Fort Worth, TX 2 edits | DeLay is indeed an embarrassment and I certainly don't claim him as a fellow Texan either. But DeLay may have pushed things a little bit too far. He actually was about 10 percentage points behind Bush's performance in his district last November. And polls in his district are showing a further decrease in support for him lately. We can only hope that if the "ethics" issues don't get him in Washington or if the grand jury doesn't indict him in Austin, then maybe the voters of Sugarland will throw him out in 2006. |
