Re: Comparing crack to spam

I know we all hate spam, but come on. Your going to throw a spammer in jail for 9 years with other people that ACTUALLY belong there (robbers, attempted/murderers, molesters/rapists, drug dealers). Im sorry, but that to me just seems a little harsh. We spend way to much time and money looking for spammers now. Oh no, I got an email about purchasing Viagra, sue that man! Every time I turn on the news I hear about a murder..a roberry..some girl getting raped..etc..those are the people we need to look for..
Its your own stupidity if you look a any suspicious email. Companies such as AOL and Ebay (mentioned in the article) should strengthen their security in order to ensure the privacy of their users. Clearly, they have not been able to do that. Maybe we should also point the finger at them as well?.. Just make it so he can't sign up with any ISP for the next 10 years or so. I'm sure it will drive him insane considering that most of his life revolved around the Internet. Although, that's just my thoughts of coarse..
