Only time will tell who wins this, but with the BPL hype-athon in its third year, it's not much beyond several test beds and a couple commercial sites. DSL and cable grew much, much faster than this and that was arguably before broadband had widespread acceptance. |

I personally don't know enough about either technology to make technical arguments for or against, but when I see some people so unwilling to even discuss a matter and other so willing to dive into something with no thought whatsoever, both sides end up reeking of cognitive dissonance and/or groupthink.
