If you don't then something is typically wrong with the connection to the back of the box.
To get out of this screen click on the MOXI button.

Make sure the cable from the outside line is securely fastened to the box. Also with your new HSI check to see if they used a splitter to hook that up.

I know this is probably more info than you needed. But it has helped me in the past.

Minamelos

Otterboyy : doh, sorry, missed that part.

Taken from : »users.adelphia.net/~ksoltmann/SP···shooting

quote:
OTHER PROBLEMS

Missing channels, problems tuning, electronic program guide data not updating, user interface freezes, etc. You should have 2 weeks of guide data (updated nightly).

POTENTIAL RESOLUTIONS

Rebooting
Many problems can be resolved by rebooting your machine. To accomplish a soft reboot, hold down the Reset button on the front of the box for about five seconds until it reboots. If that does not work, you can try a hard reboot by unplugging the box for about five seconds, then plugging it back in. Rebooting typically takes about three to five minutes.

Cable TV customer support
If rebooting does not solve the problem, you should probably call your local cable customer support line for assistance. They can remotely diagnose and fix some problems immediately. When you call, if the support person does not recognize the term "Moxi," say "DVR" instead. Just like any industry, some cable companies are better than others and some individual personnel are better than others regarding support. If it becomes clear that the person you reach does not have much experience, you may want to ask to talk to someone else (or just call back later) or ask to be elevated to the next level of support.

The Moxi apparently logs certain problems and can upload the logs to a server, so, in theory, a customer support person could have valuable diagnostic information. In practice, however, I do not know whether conventional customer support representatives have routine access to such logs.

If the cable customer support person is unable to fix the problem, they will most likely schedule a visit by a cable technician. Although this is a pain, there are definitely circumstances where it is required. There are a number of cases where only the swapping of the box with a new one will resolve the problem. Unfortunately, in other cases the home visit may be unnecessary.

--
Untie the hands that bind your mind.

Old Style : I am having a couple problems with my moxi box, as of last night at 5:30 (mountain time) i no longer have any program guide information. I have called adelphia twice and still no guide information? is there any way i can force the guide information to be downloaded? Not having any guide information, also means the DVR will not work! I have tried the reset button, even unplugged it for a half hour, still nothing. I also about 2 weeks ago changed from qwest DSL to adelfia hsi. and i am wondering if this had to do with the problem, because i know that the moxi keeps program information for 2 weeks.
