| GTE Modem backorder again? Hey all,
I just spoke to GTE about where my modem was exactly since my service is starting on the 16th. The reps told me that my modem MIGHT be on backorder. What the hell does that mean? MIGHT huh? They said that if I don't get my modem by Monday the 16th, then call them back... and they will probably just tell me that they are backordered and all I cann do is wait. Is this just me or is this another widespread backorder problem? My neighbor signed up for DSL 2 days after I did and they say that he should get his modem on Saturday, the 14th. What's going on? |

| Read through the posts and see how many people GTE sends two modems to. It's no wonder they get backordered all the time. |
