ICANN just approved a bunch of new domains recently.
I have had calls from BellSouth DSL users, FDNet users and others saying they have had DNS outages in the past week.
My theory is that everyone is upgrading DNS to support the new domains.
Just my thought. |

Overland Park, KS | Intermittent service again tonight. Comcast, you are one impressive company at times... things never seem to get to the technicians. The connection is good - just intermittent DNS. |
