I try to access atl.speakeasy.net and get a crash in Safari *and* in OmniWeb when the applet starts to load. I sure hope other sites with applets don't cause similar crashes. Anyone want some more data? If so, tell me what you're looking for.... |

2 edits | reply to HiVolt Sorry folks to be gone. Went to Apple. Lots of people complaing. "Safari suddenlly Quit." Tried Tweak Test Same thing. Submitted 3 bug Reports to Apple. Should I reload the 69? Mb again:( |
|
 | reply to jpfresno Earlier today I was going through BBR and saw something about not using a Java based speedtest. It was not in the ATM forum. I can't find it now and don't know if it had anything to do with the problem being reported here, but I did see it. |
|
 | RJackson et al. Went to atl.speakeasy and Safari died before I entered a thing. Does Apple Monitor this like Earthlink does the EL Forum ? |

Re: [X] OS0 10.3.9 Quits when I try Speakeasy Spee From various boards, it appears Java is broken in the 10.3.9 update, and the Speakeasy test uses Java. For now, there's not much you can do about the problem -- Join the RC5 team. |

For now, there's not much you can do about the problem Thanks jzmanÑconfirms what I found at Apple Disc's. Now what? Try a reload of what seems to be broken. Is there an uninstall that will let me go back to 10.3.8? -- Do not start vast problems with a half vast mind. |

1 edit | What's test64 I tried empty todays caches in system. No help. Apple discussion appears to blame it on Java. Any way to uninstall 0.3.9 and get back 10.3.8 -- Do not start vast problems with a half vast mind. |

Re: [X] OS0 10.3.9 Quits when I try Speakeasy Speed Test Working fine here. Took no precautions, no backups, no repair permissions, and even through in the iSight update to make things interesting. Speed tests work, Java works, everything works. Guess I'm livin' on the edge. -- bobrk |
