Maybe I'm confused. But how does Comcast picking up only 1.9 million subscribers bump them from 29% of the market to 44%?

Their customer base is pretty large already. 1.9 million is not that big of an addition to Comcast.

See this story at the Washington Post. Shouldn't have to register. Perhaps the 44% is a bit high but certainly over 30%
