F'Burg here too. When I moved in 9 months ago, there were some problems, but a system upgrade fixed them. I now see 4-5Mbps+ down and 800+ up, and I am not even on premier.
At the very least, comcrap will jump prices... especially on the premier package, which I planned on getting once the promo I am on now ends. I have HSI only, so the premier is only a $5 increase.
I used to live in F'Burg too. Too bad Cablevision didn't get them. They offer faster speeds for cheaper prices and are in the process of upgrading to DOCSIS 2.0 to make the network even faster.
