Forest Hills, NY | Comcast/Time Warner Nothing surprises me, but we are talking about 6 months or more before any changes occur, most changes are probably minor, because there not going to overhall the existing equipment, except to make improvements. Cable rates aren't likely to change for adelphia customers within 12 month period, and you will have more additional services, forthcoming.
Lets put it this way this way there isn't much you can do as a customer. Cablevision should have been looking to make a big long before if they were real serious about adelphia.
Cablevision real asset is not its cable network anymore its programming. The problem with its programming is that it has created an adversarial relationship with cable operators, and needs to work in better partnership.
The deal is done, companies like comcast/Time Warner Cable don't make press announcements, there is no way that cablevision would ever be able to handle such a big aquisition, and vendors trust Time Warner Cable to handle this deal. |
