FatalVector - fatal math errors

Either you work for a POTS Bell or are behind the moon, techenology-wise. For a typical MaBell line you pay as much just in TAXES and FEES as you are for the entire VOIP bill.

For instance, my payment to Sunrocket's service is $16.58 per month. No taxes or "excise" fees, no setup fee, no shipping cost, no cancellation fee. Unlimited local, unlimited long distance, plus 100 free minutes to Western Europe (a $3.00 value reducing my monthly cost even more.) 2 individual phone numbers with two separate voice mail boxes. Many advanced features. A similar Verizon line cost me between $75.00 and $85.00 per month, making my yearly savings about $800.00. To boot, they throw in a 3 Uniden phone cordless phone system and offer a rewards program ($25.00 for every person who signs upon my recommendation.)

THAT is "paying the same as landline"? Not even in your wildest dreams.
