Sudbury, MA | Haves VS have nots There is a case to be made that students who have access to Broadband will have an advantage over those who don't. Libraries tend to close around 5-6 pm. The kids with no access or no computer for that matter will fall behind.
We are fast getting to the point where dialup is unusable. A coworker of mine remarked to another "thank's for that $%^&* file". I came to understand it was a 9MB file and tied up the guy's line for hours. I got the same email and it took a few minutes, it loaded while I wasn't even looking at my computer.
The other guy won't pay for the broadband, and his ability to function as an employee actually suffers. Yes, I've mixed in two different issues here.
