I guess it's hard to have SBC upgrade their speeds in the Tulsa area when they are the only ones providing DSL. Makes me think that the state of Oklahoma always takes a couple steps backwards when everyone else sky rockets forward with greater speeds.
Southern frickin' California still has not seen any speed increases above their top offering of 3mb/386k, which in real terms translates to 2.1mb/270k, despite offering speeds up to 6mb/600k to independent resellers in our market.
So, don't feel left out.
I for one am getting tired of waiting for my 8mb/1mb service...............
How can you be mad at SBC offering 3mb/386k for $29.95 a month. I remember as I'm sure you do to, when it was 1.5/128 for $40 + a month.
It's getting better slowly, but it is getting better.
Also SBC was offering 6mb/386k just before there now top 3mb/386k & then did away with it. Them that have the 6mb down are grandfathered in as long as they stay with it....
