M$ is so full of themselves. What does the poor bastard like myself who scrapes by because you're trying to feed 3 mouths, all of them seem to need the computer at the same time for homework so maybe you have 2 or 3 in the home to alleviate gridlock and fights. Yeah this liscensing stuff is total bullshit. I wouldn't mind if they sold you multiple liscences for $40 or so each. Bill Gates can just suck my weenie b4 I"m gonna start cughing up the kind of dough he wants! I'll scrape by on 98 or Linux if necessary. Why is it I can by a whole NEW computer WITH a monitor for just a few $$ more than his stinkin' copy of windows anyway?

How can you be "scraping by" yet afford 2 or 3 computers? Get your priorities straight. I come from a family of 5 and until I moved out 1 computer served us just fine despite everyone needing it frequently for school and work. Also, why should Windows be cheaper now that computers are cheaper? People should be thankful they can get a new comp for a few hundred dollars instead of a few thousand. If the price of new comps increased would you then think it was ok to charge a lot for Windows?

First the machines I run are "junkyard dogs" and second I didn't say I was "scraping by" I asked how someone who IS does it.
Maybe you have enough disposable income to drop $190 each for multiple machines. Good for you! Even MAC sells a very discounted lisc. for multiple machines. Why can't Gates?

Actually it's Mac, not MAC.
