Just like with yahoo launch... Yahoo is notorious for using IE specific code, there has even been a time when it did work for other browsers (like opera) but then yahoo seem to change the site as if it were BLOCKING other browsers purposely.
I think they do this because of their yahoo toolbar and other IE browser malware/junk/crapware.
