How to they handle propagation dampening, ghosting (harmonics), etc. between the point where its introduced and where its delivered. How are they handling isolation between households, or multiple accounts? How much energy is required to transmit upstream, from household to hub or headend? What happens during pressure flux? How dangerous would flowing NG inside of its pipe be toward generating static electric interference in the propagated transmission? What is the signal loss function--it is linear distance, non-linear distance on a tree, etc.?
This 'might' be of use to city owned and operated NG infrastructures and benefit them in knowing they will not have to dig up too much of the ROW (right of way). Still, though, its of limited market reach since (as someone already pointed out) not everyone lives in a NG-equipped neighborhood. |
