Lets not forget that as cable companies start to move more and more of their channels to digital there will be a lot of space freed up for more offerings (more HD channels and more bandwidth for HSI). They have a lot of space they can use, just need to trash the analog spectrum.
And thast another thing. You are comparing telco's fiber all digital to cable's half digital half analog system. Compare apples to apples.
