I am so unbelievably happy to hear this. You have had a tough time.. you and I both! I know what it is like to have big/major surgery and be in the hospital.. for up to 4 months at a time! I am so glad you are doing better and I am SO glad that you got your certificate and that your main worry now is picking a laptop. Jacquie, I wish you nothing but the best from here on out and I want you to post with pictures of your new laptop once you get it!

I truly am so glad that you are cancer free now.. It breaks my heart to hear of yet another person getting cancer. I am so glad that you are now cancer free and you can live the rest of your life strong and happy. This just makes my day.

When I thought of starting a donation fund for you, I thought it would be so awesome to see this exact thread. However, I have to admit I had my doubts. I never thought I'd see this thread. Then, I looked at my profile page and the thread was gone. Turned out I couldn't just make a thread asking for donations for your laptop.

Well, a few days later, there was an official thread made. I, and many others donated, and it all came from the team. So, from the team to you, (holds up glass bottle of rootbeer) Cheers!

For privacy's sake, I'd say a list for Jacquie is great, but I wouldn't put it online. Many of us have said that we've donated, but some may donate and not want others to know and some may not donate and not want others to know. She's home for 5 straight days now without further complications...healing very slowly, but healing.

This was the news we've all been waiting to hear.

It’s difficult for her to sit for any length of time due to the surgeries and subsequent healing process.

At the initial suggestion of Jesse, Devious85 See Profile, and having been verified there is a need for a computer that’s portable and lightweight …one that Jaquie can access from her bed while recuperating, we thought to gift her something helpful.

In other words, a laptop :)

A fund has been established.

Those interested in contributing can IM either myself, tiggerstales See Profile , Optimized See Profile or INTENS1 See Profile for PayPal info.

This will be used for a gift certificate to Newegg….so she may choose for herself.

If you’d like to consider it…I think it would be a great way get her back here with us posting.
