isn't all that piracy proof and it doesn't have an affect on microsoft? or proof that piracy doesn't always hurt the company? maybe when a corporation gets to a certain point the copyright should be lifted. or when the copyrighted material sells enough copies it should be made public domain or at least free to copy. i'm pretty sure the owner(s) of the windows copyright have been compensated more than enough.
It kind of pisses me off that the government can get away paying $1.00 for a whole bunch of copies of XP, while typical home consumers like myself have to pay an outlandish $99.00 for every friggin' copy of it. Every single computer, and then face activation restrictions for our legit copies.
It almost makes me want to pirate XP just to spite them. -- "Some people never see the light till it shines thru bullet holes." -Bruce Cockburn iPod Shuffle=iPos
