Kinda unfair.

In the US were expected to pay 150, but in India they get away with 1 dollar a copy. Granted they are still using the illegal copies, but definitely wrong to let them off. Personally I think microsoft is scared that if it sued their government they would win, but India would go all linux. Unfortunately they will go the linux route anyways. Microsoft's price tag of anything above free screws them in the 3rd world.

Not really, people with no money in 3rd world countries aren't going to touch windows if they have to pay. Linux or any future free OS, is going to be the clear winners in poor countries.
