Coz I want to be on 218.111 with the new DSLAM but the ping is not as low as what I'm hoping to(under 30ms). It gave me 70ms..Im afaid Im gonna stuck at 70ms forever, and more to it my aztech 600e cannot sync with the new DSLAM, keep on blinking.
Hope this 25th they gonna upgrade or I have to force the technician to changed my port hahaha. Have to live with 70ms, better then 200ms.

And again ping is proof of response speed, not downlaoding speed which is y TMnet Speedometer is created.

Even in America, customer for DSL Verizon under 11k feet can apply for FAST setting not Interleaved as we are currenly on
so they can have a lower ping, Why do they gave customer this choice? Coz they know the importancy of ping. Not like TMNet , they only know about bandwith..If its only about bandwith, Jaring BB, Even 2-Way Sattelite also can give Bandwith, but not response time.
archonixm : Today I called the technician and the techies came to my house. I've complained bout the ping and he test it out thoroughly. He asked me to called TMNet support and chatting with the support staff takes me 30 minutes lol. Keep refering to supervisor. And guess what, at last the staff ask me to ignore the ping LOL. What a joke!!!!!!!! They only entertain slow download, intermittent or blinking problem.

And the technician guy is kind enough to test change my port to a newer DSLAM. And I get 70ms to tm.net.my. So the old DSLAM is the problem. I even get 218.111 IP on tat port. The tech guy ask me to do a report to TMnet Support Staff so he can get an order number then only he can change my port permanently. During my time reporting , that support staff ask me to do the usual thing..flush dns, restart, 3 times speedometer test. To my suprise Im getting 76,84,94 kb/s. LOL. No wonder my BT is downloading like snail these days.

But of course ping does not equal bandwith, Im getting slow connection only these recent days, but ping is from 8 months ago.
