Re: Linksys BEFSX41 Router + Speedstream 5200 Mode Ok, I've assigned my Router my Sympatico username and password combination and selected PPoE but no changes yet. Should I remove my user ID and password from my Modem or should I leave those in?

| To recap what I did so far:
1. Set my router to use PPPoE and put in my Sympatico log-in information.
2. Should I remove my Login info from my modem's configuration page and let the router handle it? (192.169.2.1)
3. Set MTU to 1492 then to 1452.
4. Verified that only my LAN/router-based connection was present in my Network Connections folder.
No changes yet. Still have no/very little internet connectivity. LAN works great though. |
