I wonder if this will be the "killer app" that will bring about a surge of demand for broadband throughout the states, and forces ISPs to more seriously start deploying én massé at an accelerated basis (compared to the rate they are going now, any serious deployment would be accelerated  ).

Actually... They can't make it illegal. Because all you are doing is watching your own television, etc. Your are not actually doing any re-broadcasting because only one person can watch the device at any given time. So there aren't any legality issue on re-broadcasting. |
