I have two residences right now - my permanent home with the satellite system and an apartment in another city where I'm working now with basic cable. I don't see how I cannot get one of these things. | |

 | | You should be able to use pretty much any device, as long as the Sling software has the IR code for it. From what I have seen, the list of codes is quite extensive. There is a possibility that it might not have the IR code for you device, but most likely it does. | |
