Do't you mean goodby MS period? I really hope Apple releases OS X for other Intel/AMD based systems. I would love to have OS X running on my 2.5 GHz Dell Laptop.
If Apple is pursuaded to releas OS X for all x86 systems, all my machines here at home will be running it!!

Promptly uninstalled it from my computers. Will stick with Norton, Adaware and Spybot for now. Yeah i know they are not perfect either. Their presence on my computers will be reviewed weekly. |

I don't think Apple will release OS X for "Windows machines."
Apple is a hardware company and they are out there to sell hardware. The OS and all the software is there to help sell hardware. And that's straight from Jobs' mouth.
I may be wrong on this since Jobs does whatever he must in order to make money...but I would be surprised if it happened.
I like the Apple OS but I like building my own machines too so I'm stuck. |
