Re: westell versalink 327w disconnect issues. I've been having dropped-connection problems with my Westell Versalink 327W for some time now, but it's gotten really bad in the last few weeks.
I just got off the phone with Verizon Tech Support, and the tech admitted that (a) the 327W's have some known problems, including weak wireless signal strength and dropped connections, (b) Verizon hasn't been shipping these boxes to customers "for a few weeks now at least," although (c) if I requested a replacement for my defective 327W and they had any left in stock, guess what I would be getting...
In order to get a non-Westell replacement box, I am going to have to deal with Verizon Billing on Monday.
