cepheid666 : Out of curiosity, is there any functional difference between the 5100b and the 4100? SBC claims to now be shipping the 4100 here in CA. I've got a 5100b and it's been working generally fine, especially since I upgraded the firmware to prevent lock-ups. My contract is up and I *could* get a new modem if I wanted to when I renew the contract... I know the GUI is the same between them, so I'm wondering whether the 4100 has any benefit over the 5100b (in terms of speed, reliability, or whatever) and whether it's worth the $12.95 in S/H fees. :)
