Frankly, I think computers in school are bad idea. If you think we have virii on the net now, just wait til a bunch of bored students start mass producing worms.

| On the one hand, yeah, there will be a whole lot of socially maladjusted and technically ignorant folks that will be introduce to the internet.
On the flip side, the school can turn this into a wonderful opportunity to enlighten said students to social responsibility not just in civics/government class, but also in an online sense. It's probably too much to hope for, but channelling that power for good, not evil, is worthwhile. |
