Re: MPLAYER; Finally!!! SUSE 9.3 I just followed a procedure that was essentially the same. I am now able to watch DVD rental movies, yay!
The trick is that you have to remove them before going to the packman site to download.
Even so, I think that I am going to make the change in my YaST as you have done, for the future.
