Ok people I seen someone say that they always say the system will boot up faster then it did before and none of them have. Now they said it would boot up faster. They were saying it would boot up faster then it would when the OS was originally was written. But now this time they said it would boot up 50% faster than XP. Yea it'll boot up faster if you have the system they tell you that you need. And I'm not talking about the minimum requirements. I am talking about the system they think everyone should already have. The 3 plus ghz system with 3 gigs of ram. When a new OS is written they just pile on more crap in startup that isn't needed. I would be willing to suffer application startup time some to get a faster bootup time. The way to fix that I believe would be not to load some things until a program calls upon it. I don't know how to make programs but I am willing to bet that more then half the stuff Windows initiates on startup doesn't need to be. The least used things shouldn't be initiated until called upon by a program. Just me 2 cents.
