Re: BFG 6800gt OC? said by bigyeah:I currently work at Best Buy and i get a great discount on BFG products. I am have a 2800+xp athlon, 1gig pc3200 XMS high performance corssair, and an a7n8x deluxe mobo. Will the BFG 6800gt OC be good with this system? I am not looking to spend much, with my discount i can get it for $275. Is this still considered a good card? I am getting into World of Warcraft, and i want to start playing BF2 and CS:S. I will most likely upgrade after ps3 comes out also, so will this card hold me over until then? I have an AMD 2500XP oc'ed to 3200 with a gig of ram. I am using an MSI mobo and I have the BFG 6800GT OC and it works great with it. You shouldn't have any problems. You could overclock your processor a bit by raising the FSB to 200mhz. | | | said by Chemop:said by bigyeah:I currently work at Best Buy and i get a great discount on BFG products. There is no place in my Bios to make the FSB 200mhz. I can make the CPU speed 200mhz, but that doesn't let my computer boot up, it boots up into safe mode bios. | |
