Well, it is sad to hear that is how the Russians decided to deal w/ the spam crap was to delete him off the planet. However, according to the article, I think it's b/c most the of spam consisted of LEARNING ENGLISH. If it was porn (if it's legal in Russia?) or for a worthy cause like helping the poor & illiterate, then maybe he would not have had as many enemies.
