FIOS installation here in Chesterfield County started in late March and has been finished in our community for quite a long time. I was wondering if anyone knew the time frame as to when it becomes active after the installation has been completed. Verizon trucks are no longer in our community working on the system which makes it seem like it has been completed.
According to one FIOS rep I spoke with, once the cable is laid, the turnup date is still a couple of months away. Probably two to three months to be more precise. Per the rep, a lot of "testing" begins before the CO goes into production. Not encouraging, but definitely a step in the right direction.
