<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/0"><b>anon</b></A> : I don't know why Zonelabs doesn't release updates via its update feature in Zone Alarm Pro for a couple of days.  However, Agnitum, maker of Outpost Pro, does the exact same thing.  They release a revision as a direct download first and the program update feature will not pick up the new version for several days to a week. Agnitum says they do it to avoid overburdening their servers.  Perhaps Zonelabs has a similar rationale.<br><br>I was able to get the .003 version last night by using the link used in this thread.]]></description>

I still don't trust the newer versions which is a shame as I was one of those that never had a problem in the early days.  Now that they're trying to be the end all to be all and take care of everything, I am just not ready to commit to a change until I hear that things are really going smoothly and that some of the unneeded features for me can be switched off.<br><SMALL>--<br>JKK:-)Age is a very high price to pay for my maturity.
