Here in Lompoc Ca, they are laying fiber for our next phase of muni broadband. So far they havent released any speeds fr the fiber yet but the wi-fi is $20 for 1mb symmetrical. I'm all for it. They say fiber will cover everything (TV, VoIP, internet) for $80 a month.
