HJT Log - Internet Explorer slow/crashing - IBIS?

Please help!!! Internet Explorer runs extremely slow, rarely pulls up pages, and crashes. Microsoft Crash Analysis says that IBIS toolbar is the likely cause. I ran Spybot, Ad-Aware, and Microsoft Antispyware and no IBIS. Anything found (tracking cookies) was removed and I rebooted immediately (before I found this forum) Virus scans found nothing. A couple of times the crash report said it had to do with add-ons and I checked into it and found nothing. I once got a drwatson debugger error too.

I’ve followed all steps in the instructions posted here. I ran the above again but could not update Spybot. It says “Socket error #10060 connection timeout”. Ad-Aware and Microsoft updated fine. I ran Trend-Micro CWShredder and About:Buster and found nothing. I could not run Ewido because I could not download the updates so I ran TrojanHunter. It found nothing also.

Below is the Hijack This log. If someone here could help I would really, really appreciate it. This is making me crazy!!!

Re: HJT Log - Internet Explorer slow/crashing - IB

Can't see any malware clues in your log. If all those scans ran clean except for cookies, I suspect another cause for your problem (IBIS toolbar is pretty well known and something would have picked up a trace of that anyway)
quote:
but could not update Spybot. It says “Socket error #10060 connection timeout”.
That may be something worth investigating. But I would really be surprised if this was a malware problem.

This is as an aside as it is most likely not related to the problems you are experiencing, but you do need to update your Sun Java once you get a chance (very out of date, and could be a security risk)
