Re: No, they have not lost it I'm afraid most of your problems stem from not knowing how to configure the firewall, I use ZA seamlessly with my systems. If you don't know how to use a firewall, don't buy one. |

Do not see how ZA gets away with that and gets good reviews.
Most other firewall work as well or may be even better without endless popup requests to do this and that.

Because I've never had that problem with any other version. Haven't tried 6.0 yet though, I'm one of those guys who prefers to wait a while after an upgrade comes out and read about it first

You missed my point.
I have had no issues with ZAP since I started using it in 1999. However I alwasy make sure it is installed on the latest and greatest OS iteration with all patches applied.
I suspect that Checkpoint (parent of Zone Labs) does its internal test on fully patched XP/2000 systems. I suspect teh vast majority having problems are using 95/98 or pre-SP2 XP. |
