With the Linksys we connect right away.  Heck I was even able to connect at my neighbors house to it with my standard G connection notebook.]]></description>

I've no idea how it performs, though.<br><br>(Cursory Net search later) Hmm, it seems some people claim the Netgear unit isn't "true MIMO", whatever that means. They say it has good range, though.]]></description>
