drake : I take it you're using a cable modem. Either way, it seems you're asking how to network your "Linksys" product.

It's quite simple.

Be sure to have a couple of ethernet cables handy.

1. Bring a ethernet cable (or Cat-5 if you will) from the WAN port of your modem to the WAN port of your router (in the back).

2. Assuming there's four LAN-ports, stretch a ethernet cable from one of the available four ports (make sure it isn't the uplink port!), and plug it directly to your computer network interface card.

You haven't provided much information about what you'd like to do, so I'm just giving general information for now.

•What exactly are you looking to do?
•What equipment is involved?
•How's the current setup?

.. and more information wouldn't hurt.

The things outlined above are just general things you should ask when requesting help with networking. We're no mind readers! :p
--
"Sit back, relax, and enjoy life.."
