<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/148516"><b>Authority</b></A> : Did anyone follow the major disaster at CNN this week?  I do some tech consulting for them, and I got a paniced call when the crash happened.  They wanted to know who to call that could talk about what happened to them.  I suggested Lawrence Baldwin at mynetwatchman.com, but he didn't want to go on air so he sent them to SANS.<br><br>Where their news gathering team falied is that they didn't seem to realize that what was a big deal to them wasn't a bid deal to everyone else... particularly those with IT teams who keep their systems patched.
