I went to the Comcast live chat support page and I asked if there was a $29.95 internet with the one year contract. The tech person told me there was no such thing as a $29.95 internet service. I was also told that Comcast does not do one year contracts what so ever.
Look if the tech person says theres no $29.95 a month with a one contract for high speed internet then chances that it is not at all offered by Comcast anywhere in the United States. If you talk to someone at on the phone or threw the chat support page they are just going to tell you the same thing they told me. You must not have Comcast or have never heard of it to be saying such things about Comcasts high speed internet prices. Get your facts right.
There is one fact though. There are countless examples when someone tunes into a clueless tech support person. This happens all the time.
What I'm saying is perhaps the person who did report a $29/mo with contract offer in his home town because of the competition does not mean you can call up and get the same deal.
And you're wrong, I've had Comcast for several years now.
When asking the tech person about the $29.95 the tech asked me were I read such a report so I gave him the link to the report at broadbandreprts.com and after reading it he said that who ever wrote it was given false information because the reports is simply is not true.
