Really, Cable, phone, DSL, all the same people, and no competition to go to for alternatives. I can (and do) use another ISP for my DSL, but I have to pay the phone company $24.95 a month for the priveledge. (Plus the $20 to my ISP)
Isn't there a law against monopolies you ask? Why yes, but here we call it a MEMBERSHIP CORP. so they can get away with it.
I tell you, it's not that great a deal all-in-one. No one to keep them in check.
