Nextel gets way better reception than most other cell phone compaines. I have verizon and can not get signal in some rural areas in the state (cant even get it at my house really) while nextel seems to work everywhere. |

North Salem, NY | I don't think you can generalize a company's phone service that easily. Where I live Verizon's reception is way better than Nextel's. Wherever you go the reception changes. |

Not up here they don't, there is no Nextel service anywhere in Mendocino (my home county), Lake, Humboldt, Trinity, Modoc, Lassen and Plumas Counties in Northern California. They are just paperweights up here.
