Cingular Customers Won't Know......

T-mobile SIM Card

Cingular SIM Card
Cingular customers won't know the good deed T-mobile is doing for them because thier SIM cards display EVERY GSM Network as Cingular. What should be displayed as T-mobile and AT&T in my area is displayed as Cingular, Cingular. The reason for this is Cingular thinks that if their customers see Cingular all the time on thier phones they will think that they have coverage everywhere.... which is one big lie!

Yes, and don't forget that some cingular customers cannot even do a manual network search!

That sux... You should let T-Mobile know of your findings. This can't be something allowed with their roaming contracts.

Yeah seriusly, u would think that companies like the extra advertisment when someone roams on thier network. Because people feel that the network they are roaming on is much better since it has coverage.

It's been that way i think for a while now. Im glad t-mobile actually allows you to know who your roaming on and also lets you choose networks manually. (Not that it's any help sometimes. But it does at least let you know if there is another gsm system. If there is and roaming isn't allowed, you will still be able to dial 911.)
