The discussed the use of the bonjour service and claimed that it was completely safe and was simply used to check for other users connected to your network for iTunes sharing purposes. This may be true but I am running Zone Alarm Pro and it caught this bonjour service trying to not only access the internet zone(not the trusted subnet) but also accept connections from the internet. iTunes may be only looking for these subnet computers but giving the program the ability to accept foreign connections could pose a serious security risk. I think for the time being it would be best to turn off the program until they update their safety with this little program.
