Well,at least they are installing good,highly scalable technology that will serve the state well into the future. At least its not more BPL junk. As most of the astute readers of the forum know,the limiting factor with fiber optics is the electronics at each end,which is continuously evolving. As someone who has 20+ years in network technology,this sounds like a good approach.
