Turn off service takes a month.....is this normal?

I requested turn-off my service, and they said it takes a month to turn-off. They said it's all in the contract.

Hey....I joined their service since dayone....,and they are gonna charge me for an extra month to turn off that I don't use.

I am moving out a location and will not use the ACE..
It's gonna be totally waste of my money.

Any other utility costs me a moth fee to cut the services out!!!! unbelievable.
