<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/624633"><b>Attila13</b></A> : According to some of the java speed tests, I get between 7 and 8, but I've never beat about 650KB/sec download, which translates to a little over 5 Mbits/sec.<br><br>Technically, I'm supposed to get 4 Mbits/sec, not 6, because I don't have cable TV, so who's complaining?<br><br>Oh, yeah, your modem:  I was getting about 2 Mbits/sec with my 4100, so rather than fighting with tech support for months about the config file, as some others on the forum have done, I ditched the 4100 and bought a cheap 5120.<br><br>-- Attila]]></description>

I've talked to Comcast and they said my modem did have the right software for 6 Mbps speeds.  My modem is a SB4100.<br><br>Does anyone get 6 Mbps or above in Montgomery County?]]></description>
