I have a feeling we'll be seeing $1.25 + songs in the ITMS soon enough. Record labels are just going to band together and tell Jobs to raise the price or no contract renewal. If Jobs refuses then I'm sure MS will be all too happy to raise the price of its music as they invented the word extortion.

Ideally, the RIAA wants a continuous stream of revenue and for the consumer to never have a permanent copy of anything. Subscription models is what they will really push in the coming years. People think I'm stupid with my little "black box" theory, but we'll see....
